We All Have Our Roles

For Elizabeth Fuchs it looks like being an Advocate, an Educator, and a Healer.

Advocate

 Lilly served as a lobbyist for PROMO, Missouri’s LGBTQ advocacy organization,. She worked with the Metro Trans Umbrella Group and Planned Parenthood on reproductive justice. Fuchs was named a 2018 Champion of Equality.

Educator

Lilly is a dedicated educator, teaching Social Policy Analysis and Evaluation at the Brown School, where she shapes future leaders in social work and policy. In addition to her teaching role, she serves as a field advisor for the Master of Social Policy program and as SED field faculty for the Office of Field Education.

Healer

Lilly is a healer through her work as a community advocate, particularly with the Metro Trans Umbrella Group.  Lilly combines her background in social policy with a deep dedication to healing and supporting those in need, fostering fairness and opportunity for all.

Get Informed

The first step is being informed on what legislation is happening in Missouri.

Find Your Role

We all have unique strengths that we can use to help make an impact. This looks different for everyone, and that's okay!

>Persuasive Speaker?

Search the bill, Go to the "actions" section, look for "referred" for the committee name

2. Contact the committee chair and/or members

3. Submit testimony either in-person or virtual.

Create infographics raising awareness for topics you care about. 

> Strong Writer?

Create policy briefs and send them to your local legislators.
